Heavylaw - Cynic-(Progressive-Metal)

Les américains publieront le 17 Mai un EP intitulé "Re-Traced" contenant 4 titres issus de "Traced in Air", en versions entièrement ré-arrangées, avec en supplément le titre inédit "Wheels Within Wheels".

"For the most part, the tunes reference some of our favourite musical forms and in our own curious way (electronic/ambient, jazz/fusion, drum n' bass, experimental, shoegaze). There is no vocoder, no traditionally busy CYNIC riffs that are some of our most signatures sounds, but the music retains its song structure, integral melodic sense, harmony and lyrical inspiration."

Oui reprendre quatre titres de Traced in air, même réarrangés (et je leur fais confiance pour réarranger le tout avec talent), ça affaiblit l'intérêt d'en tel mini album quand même!! :/
